London, part 2. A Flickr search for 'crumpet' explains them much better than I could. My American-in-London interpretation is that they are kind of like little pancakes full of holes for butter and honey (or whatever else you are putting on them ... obviously, I thought of maple syrup, but it probably isn't traditional!) to seep through. Yum!
